Oh, so I see we're approaching some agreement here: We see a usecase for a specification of how to mention a person in the terms of styling/markup (a way to link a person or group). That's the (a) I was talking about. Now that we agree on that, why should there be a specification for (a) and one that does (a)+(b)? Wouldn't it be both easier and cleaner if the specification that does (b) would not also have (a), if we have an independent specification for (a) anyway?
