It has slowed down but not stopped (I hope).

Last thing I heard about it is that there's an experimental version of
their backend, Loudmouth, with TLS support, but as far as I know, it
hasn't been released yet. They are certainly aware it is lacking.

Maybe if you poke them about it ... ;-)
