connecting to jabber.org

I seem to be having a lot of issuing connecting and staying connected to 
my jabber.org account.  The messages I'm seeing from Adium (1.5.4) while 
it's trying to connect are: streaming (25%), reading data (50%), and 
authenticating (75%).  Then it seems to just hang.  When it does connect 
the new certificate verifies just fine.  After a short time it seems to 
drop off with an error that says ping error timeout.  I can ping the 
jabber.org server just fine and get results like: 88.902 ms, 102.086 ms, 
98.804 ms, 96.257 ms.

Also, many times it says I'm logged in, but the only contact it's 
showing is a chatroom and none my other contacts.

Are others having similar problems or is it just me?
