Unsubscribe function broken?

Hello,

is the unsubscribe function moderated or broken?

Unfortunately I haven't used chat for some time so I decided to unsubscribe.

I sent an email to juser-request with unsubscribe in the subject but no avail.

I then logged into the web interface and requested to unsubscribe, but
I haven't received the confirmation email.

In the meantime I am receiving the messages on the list.

I am not very bothered receiving messages but I wonder if there's
something broken.
