Thunderbird and jabber.org

Hello everyone,
 
is there anyone out there using thunderbirds built in chat with an account on jabber.org? 

First I had an error where the connection was closed by the server. After adding the jabber.org certificate to the trusted ones, the best I get is now a authentification error (thunderbird 24.4 on ubuntu 12.04).

In Thunderbird I used the following account parameters, using the german translation.

Passwort: "mypassword"
Lokaler Anzeigename: myname
Automatisch zu betretende Chat-Räume:
Quelle: Thunderbird
Priorität: 0
Verbindungssicherheit: Immer Verschlüsselung verwenden
Server: jabber.org
Port : 5223
