leafnode 1.11.10: Segfault in libc-2.14.1.so

Hello,

I was trying to fetch usenet articles from my usenet provider which was shortly 
offline (confirmed by
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ ).

When it was back up again, I was able to fetch the articles with leafnode 
1.11.10 but /var/log/messages said:

No pointers in the net for that.
Any hints?
Are there problems in leafnode 1.11.10 that I should know?
