non-printable characters in headers

This notice is that article can't be stored?

thufir@mordor:~$ article /var/spool/news/soc/history/62 contained illegal 
headers: non-printable characters in headers (relaxed check allows for 
iso-8859*)

There's no article 62 in /var/spool/news/soc/history/
