Hi,

Isn't net:timeout being 5 minutes a bit crazy value? 

Here fish:// quite often hangs and waits 5 minutes to reconnect. Each hang 
means 5 min to recover. Total hang time counts in hours when downloading for 
few days.

Wouldn't be 30 or 60 seconds be enough as default? Those with very slow 
connections could still increase it.

(my local setting is 30s)
