Symbol resolution problem on AIX

I am having trouble getting lftp to run on AIX. I downloaded the RPMs and
dependencies from http://www.perzl.org/aix/index.php?n=Main.Lftp

When I try to run lftp, it complains about not being able to resolve
symbols (see below). I have tried setting LIBPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH to
different settings and reinstalling filesets, but nothing helped. What do I
need to do?

$ lftp
