possible to seek in lftp?

Is it possible to stop seeking in lftp?

Pardon, this was a repost from before I had joined the mailing list, 
which failed.

Forgot to change the title...





But anyway my question is whether I can prevent lftp from seeking in the 
source file for whatever reason or whether I need to find another 
solution.
