Hi Martin,

I have done a more simple program in C (rather than calling librsync
from C++ class like I was doing) and still meet the same problem. This
program is available at http://dar.linux.free.fr/my_rdiff/

This way you can easily reproduce the problem (make check). I have not
myself the knowledge of librsync internals to debug it efficiently
