Different blocksize problem with librsync

hi,
      i am working on librsync 0.9.6 .
        
      while generating signature file blocksize=squareroot(old-file)
      
      if old file updated then file size and block size of  new file
      increases.
      
      thus blocksize of both signature file and new file are different
                           
      Is this will couses problem in generating delta or patching 
      delta to old file.

     if problem arise how to handle them
