Excellent. But it would be very helpful if you could do the below so
that we can get Licq 1.4.0 to work correctly on FreeBSD as well.

After doing the above, could you please try running cmake (in a clean
build dir) as this:
LDFLAGS=-Wl,-export-dynamic cmake <your normal cmake args>

And then building as usual.
