Great. Then I'll try to get the first release candidate ready within the 
next few days.

I had a quick look at the packaging script and it looks like it should 
work fine for the branch. However the tag script is gone so I'll have to 
grab an old version and see if I can get it working for the branch.

I agree, neither of the solutions are perfect but this probably has the 
smallest negative effects so I'll update trac and trunk to use 1.5.0.

Of course we shouldn't wait too long. But I would like to at least get 
rid of all the old include/licq_*.h files before we release.
However I don't expect ICQ to be a separate plugin in 1.5.0 that will 
have to come later on. (Although I'm trying to remove as much as 
possible of the ICQ stuff from the plugin API as a preparation.)

But due to the amount of changes in trunk, I think it might be good to 
release a stable 1.3 version just before 1.5.0. This means that 
corrections done after 1.3.9 will be available even if the first 1.5 
version is a bit shaky and users fall back to the 1.3 version instead.
However I don't expect a lot more to happen in the 1.3 branch so there 
might not be anything worth releasing, so let's see when 1.5.0 is about 
to be released if there is anything to discuss about 1.3.
