Hi Jon,
thank You very much for Your offer, but I have installed a rpm from 
packman and now licq starts!
(Due to a bug in Yast I needed hours to do that. Yast cannot handle 
downloaded rpms these days (Bug 192743 in Novell-Bugzilla). But by using 
packman as installation source in Yast everything works out fine).
