I had some problems compiling Licq on Mac OS X. The "backend" compiles fine, but the configure-script of the qt-gui does not find the qt header- and library-files. I am using the qt3-Version of fink. It should be correctly installed because I can start qtconfig in X11. My $QTDIR-Variable is not set but I don't know to which path it should point. Furthermore I've been wondering whether it is possible to compile the Qt-GUI using the recently under the GPL released version of Qt/Mac so that it would not be necessary to use X11 any more and Licq would run as "native" aqua-application. Because the compilation-process of Licq on Mac OS is not documented and there are no binary packages I don't know how to go on. I like Licq very much and I would be pleased if I could use it on my Mac as well. Any suggestions?
