It will be tomorrow before I'm back to the machines in question (yes, there are 2 Debian etch machnes acting this way). Going from memory, I believe the settings that Nerijus indicated are in fact what our setup is like. I suspect the issues began when the machines were upgraded from Debian Sarge to Debian Etch, but this may not be 100% accurate. There may have been changes in the local firewall/router during this same period, although licq communicates properly with other in-house and remote clients. It's only the visible/invisible/online notfy lists that seem to have ceased to function. I'll pass along more info when I'm back at the shop tomorrow. Thanks again, all! Denny
