Hi Erik,

Thanks, that is very helpful. Also good to know that the personal settings 
are not removed. The explanation you gave me was perfect and I was able to 
change my username.

For some reason, I am not finding Licq very intuitive. Now, I cannot figure 
out how to display my buddy list; tried selecting different bullets under 
System > Group, but nothing shows my buddy list. I swear I am not a 
complete technology idiot; been on the net for about 10 years, started on 
irc.. but I somehow can't figure it out. 

Please help, even if it will be embarrassing. :)
