You mean the last comment, right? I have no idea how comments work on
freshmeat, but the latest release announcement was 1.5.5, June 2004
(which admittedly is also a long time ago).

I forgot to announce 2.0 on freshmeat. 2.0 was the first "stable"
release for quite a long time, and I was quite in a hurry when doing
it.

So now I've first recorded 2.0 on freshmeat as a "no frontpage
release", and then I've made a proper announcement for 2.0.1. We'll
see when it gets through the moderation.

I'm actually not sure what are the most appropriate channels for
announcements. So far, all releases are announced on this list, major
releases are announced on the info-gnu list, and then freshmeat
announcement have been somewhat random. For some reason, I've done a
worse job at freshmeat with lsh than with nettle.
