I have no idea what uClinux is, or about any CGI problems with Mathopd
(apart from issues that are already known.) If I look at the patch I get
the impression that some systems do not have fork(), is that correct?

Also the patch contains too much extraneous stuff that needs to be trimmed
(the xmalloc stuff, etc.) before I can look into it.
