i didn't :)  the run file calls mathopd with the "-dn" flags, which
prohibit it from daemonizing and outputs some status messages to stdout or
stderr, which ever.  i would like mathopd to have a flag that logs
everything to stdout, which would be very simple and perfect to be used
under daemontools.

upto now i still have to go thru the /var/log/mathopd.{err,log} files and
another one (those special status messages on stdout if running -d) in the
log directory.  maybe i'll offer a patch, but first i have to get my wiki
up.
