RootDirectory and StayRoot

Helo!

  Did anyone have problems with RootDirectory defined and StayRoot
  Off?
  It prints "Invalid user name" and exits. Just checked the source and
  if I remove part in main.c where it chroots itself everything works
  fine. But, I want chroot. Do I have to put passwd in chrooted dir?
  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
