I can't help but notice that the below says you're using SNMP v1, which doesn't support 64-bit counters. The question is why is MRTG trying to use SNMPv1 with that config, which isn't immediately clear to me, since you have :::::2 in the right place (I did exactly what you did a few years back and have had no issues with it).
