This is what I have in Suse Enterprise version 11-SP4:

mcdonalddj@sles-devel:~> cat /etc/cron.d/mrtg

*/5 * * * * mrtg  env LANG=C /usr/bin/mrtg /var/lib/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg
--logging=/var/log/mrtg.log





obviously, your paths might be different.
