Trying again to get v3 set up. Currently, my command is this:
/usr/bin/cfgmaker --global "WorkDir: /var/www/mrtg/cordr1" --enablesnmpv3 -=
-username=3Duser --securityname=3Dname --privpassword=3Dpass --privprotocol=
=3Daescfb128 --authprotocol=3Dsha --authpassword=3Dpass --contextengineid=
=3D0x2e81200 --snmp-options=3D:::::3 --global "Options[_]: bits,growright" =
--global "WithPeak[_]: ymwd" --ifdesc=3Dalias --output /etc/mrtg/mrtg_cordr=
1.cfg xxx.xxx.xxx.242
I don't know if -securityname=3D is an option; and if I run without it, I g=
et:
SNMPopen failed: Received usmStatsUnsupportedSecLevels.0 Report-PDU with va=
lue 2 during synchronization
So, I am guessing it wants some sort of username besides -username
It seems like my command should be correct, aside from that. Maybe commands=
ordered differently.
Anyone have an idea? Thanks!
