Hello I posted a message a few days ago about data disappearing across the network, a few people responeded and let me know that this was due to a memory problem (thanks guys). Unfortunately I am still a little perplexed. I seem to have plenty of memory available. DO you mean abuffer overrun or physically running out of memory. Is this real emmory or DMA memory (and is there a difference in terms of the amount you can allocate?) Also when allocating receive buffers do you only need to provide buffers for the data that you are sending or does the GM api require some to be created for it? So if I know I will only be sending packets of say size 50K should I only create 64k receive buffers or do I need to create other sizes? Thankyou in advance Harvey Davis Australian Defence Department
