Multiple processes per node, MPIch_gm

Hi all, I'm new to this Myrinet forum.  I'm hoping someone might have
further information on my problem.  I am an app engineer with CSPI.  We use
the PowerPC (G4) architecture with Linux and we use Myrinet for
interprocessor communication.  The particular issue is regarding multiple
processes per physical node.  We have sucessfully used ch_p4 with machines
and verified that this works.

We have a customer that desires to use MPICH with GM to support multiple
processes per node.  We have tested our system using unique port numbers,
but it seems to lock up.  It seems from the documentation that we have 6
ports available for this particular use.

We are currently using MPICH 1.1.2__7 with GM.  Does anyone have
information regarding using unique GM ports with multiple processes per
physical node.  Perhaps the latest version may have addressed these issues?
