If you do a google search you should be able to find quite a few papers.
There is a good comparison at the LFC site:
	http://www.cs.vu.nl/das/lfc/
and also at
	ftp://litio.cos.ufrj.br/pub/papers/pdcp99.ps.Z

The Trapeze site has IP-over-Myrinet versus IP-over-Gigabit ethernet info:

The overall impression I have is that GM is not the fastest messaging layer,
although it is still fast. However, it does have support for a variety of
platforms (eg Linux, WindowsNT, IRIX, etc) and seems to be continuously
maintained. In contrast, many of the messaging layers seem to have been
neglected by their authors. However, if you want the fastest performance
then Trapeze (FreeBSD), BIP, PM, or VMMC-2 may be better. The performance
of GM or other layers may have improved since many of these papers were
published.
