[Myrinet] devfs issues with 1.5.2

Hi,

I'm testing out version 1.5.2 of the GM driver software and am having
issues getting it to work with devfs (Lanai 4--512k cards, RedHat 7.1
for Alpha, 2.4.18 kernel w/devfs).  The module loads just fine and I can
bring up an interface, but nothing actually works.  Investigation shows
that there are no device files created in /dev.  I can mknod the device
files as before (whats with the new major number?) and things work just
fine.  I haven't tested with newer (Lanai 7+) cards yet.

Any ideas?
