Dear Sir/Madam:

I COULDN'T INSTALL MPICH-1.2.1..7b on TRU64 v51.(include f90 compiler)
Please Give ME your ADVICEs. in deatail. By the way I'M Beginer of
Myrinet system.

I couldn't understand that I COULDN'T INSTALL following procedure of
installation

1. INSTALLed GM driver
gm-1.5.1_for_Tru64-alpha-OSF1-V5.1-new-features-8ports to DS20E(Tru64v5.
1)
2.Made sure if myrinetGM was installed with command ./gm_borad_info and
mapper active.args . Consequently worked well.
3.Downloaded mpich-1.2.1..7b from ftp.myricom. then current to mpich
directory. 4. Changed shell to csh as root, then command setenv like
this,
#setenv GM_HOME /usr/local/myrinet/gm
#setenv CC cc
#setenv RSH rsh
5. COMMAND ./configure with following options

#./configure -nodevdebug -cflags="-I$GM_HOME/binary/include
-I$GM_HOME/includ e" -opt=-O2 -device=ch_gm -noromio -noc++
--lib="-L$GM_HOME/binary/lib/ -L$G M_HOME/lib/ -lgm -lpthread"

6. Make

I got next a massage when I command "make"

#make
#Make: Makefile: Must be a separator on line 117. Stop.

7. I manage to make mpich, I modified Makefile like this,

MODIFIED Makefile ( as workaround to make ) <I mean I did only comment
out.

  (Line)
   84 # ${MAKE} mpi-lib-test
113 # Use this target to test the libraries
   114 #mpi-lib-test:
   115 # $(MAKE) profileliblink
   116 #ifeq ($(LARCH),WIN32)
   117 # $(MAKE) winlib
   118 #endif
119 # @echo "Testing that MPI applications can be linked..."
   120 # $(MAKE) linktest

then

 make

but, consequentry I COULDN'T run Program because of unlinked compliers,
propably......

8, I tried all conceivable measures of MPICH INSTALL, BUT NOW I CAN'T DO
INSTALL.

# ./mpif90
ld:
Unresolved:
MAIN__
f95: Severe: Failed while trying to link.

I would like to get your advices ASAP
We'RE looking foward to hearing from you.

Thank you.
