You need to upgrade your version of MPICH-GM.  This MPICH-GM 1.2..8
is very very old (a couple of years) and has known bugs that were fixed
in subsequent releases.  Details are in the CHANGES file:
   http://www.myri.com/scs/CHANGES.mpich-gm

The current release of MPICH-GM is 1.2.5..9.

Please upgrade to this latest release and if you still see the errors
that you report, then we can proceed from there.
