I would like to humbly retract this email and apologize. It appears that I was working with an even older executable (not GM 2.0.5/MPICH-GM compiled) Sorry for any inconvenience Mike -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, December 12, 2003 9:19 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Myrinet] What is the point to the shared library I am a little confused. What exactly is the point of the GM shared library? I just had to change from GM 2.0.5 to 2.0.8 and it appears that all the applications I have still need to be re-linked. Isn't the GM implementation contained within the shared lib? Mike _______________________________________________ Myrinet mailing list [email protected] http://email.osc.edu/mailman/listinfo/myrinet
