New Releases: Nagios 2.9, Nagios 3.0a3, and NDOUtils 1.4b3

Several new releases were made today...

Nagios 2.9 was released to fix a couple of bugs present in the 2.8 
version.  Changelog follows:

2.9 - 04/10/3007

* Fix for incorrect performance data file write/append mode options
* Fix for current status of hosts with no host check command defined
* SIGSEGV signals should now be logged again (broken in 2.8)
* Configure script fix for no mail program found/installed on system
* Configure script option bug fixes for cygwin and embedded perl
* Command definitions and host/service plugin perfdata with HTML should 
now be escaped in CGIs
* Patch for incorrect time down percentage in availability CGI
* Updated init script to fix a race condition during restarts


Nagios 3.0a3 was also released as the latest alpha version of the Nagios 
3 code.  Changes since 3.0a2 follow:

* Configure script fix for no mail program found/installed on system
* Fix for compilation warnings about implicit declaration of round() - 
may (strangely enough) also
   fix segfaults that were occuring on some systems
* Added detection of Apache conf.d directory and 'make install-webconf' 
functionality
* Configure script option bug fixes for cygwin and embedded perl
* Added buffer stats and check statistics to performance information in 
extinfo CGI
* Hostgroup and servicegroup definitions now have notes, notes_url, and 
action_url directives
* Patch for incorrect time down percentage in availability CGI
* Command definitions and host/service plugin perfdata with HTML should 
now be escaped in CGIs
* Updated init script to fix a race condition during restarts
* Documentation updates


Lastly, I just made a new release of the NDOUtils addon (1.4b3), which 
fixes a few bugs and should work with the latest Nagios 3 alpha code. 
Matching NDOUtils releases with the Nagios 3 code is tough at the 
moment, as data structures are changing and a new release of NDOUtils is 
required every time the structures change. :-(  Hopefully things will 
stabilize in the near future.  NDOUtils 1.4b3 requires Nagios 2.7 or 
greater of the 2.x branch or Nagios 3.0a3.  Here are the changes since 
1.4b2:

- Fixed problems with marking old, non-existant objects as inactive
