RE: MK LiveStatus install question

Locate did not find anything by 'nagios/rw/live'

Following your suggestion, I created the filepath used in the examples on the setup (/var/lib/nagios/rw) then restarted Nagios and the log now shows that it is functioning.

If not installed already, I would install locate: apt-get install locate

Then run: locate 'nagios/rw/live'
     If nothing then create the directory, else if the directory path found update your nagios.cfg file with the path found.

Maybe before all that, I would run through the make install process again to ensure there were no errors causing the expected path from being created.
