"unexpected EOF on client connection" error when apply policy

Dear all,
I have successfully set up net-policy using UnixODBC-2.2.10 and PostgresS=
QL-8.0.1 . However, when I created and applied a firewall rule, I receive=
d a Postgresql logging error:
LOG:  "unexpected EOF on client connection"
And np-distd daemon also died at that time.
I have tried to get over the error by installing PsqlODBC-08.00.0100 (the=
 unixodbc's driver for postgresql). Howerver, I still received the same l=
og error.
It's very urgent to me. Please give me some help!
