Err...  sigh...  yeah, the problem is that they aren't in the rpm db,
so it doesn't know you have them even when you do.  the choices would
be:

1) make rpms for them (NOT)
2) tell people to use --nodeps
3) figure out how to remove the requirement from the rpm file

1 is way out of scope.  2 is easy but a pain for users.  3 I'm not
sure is possible, and if they don't have them then they'll get
run-time load errors instead.

4) link statically with the above libraries instead?

That might be an easier way to go.
