Hi,
I am new to the world of net-policy and I am having a
few problems setting it all up. I have sofar spent
two weeks slowly getting nowhere!
I have installed all the source for all the
prerequisite software and then compiled and installed
each one from source.
When I run the np-install script it locks up the
QWizard interface and then I have to kill it off.
If anybody can help me I would very grateful.
This is the output after running the np-install
script.
Found we're on a fedora 1 system

Stopping PostgreSQL: pg_ctl: cannot find

Is postmaster running?
The files belonging to this database system will be
owned by user "postgres".
This user must also own the server process.
The database cluster will be initialized with locale
en_GB.UTF-8.
This locale setting will prevent the use of indexes
for pattern matching
operations. If that is a concern, rerun initdb with
the collation order
set to "C". For more information see the
Administrator's Guide.
