If np-distd is not compliling, the cause is a later or earlier error. (sometimes the compiler will stop on warnings, but I don't think that is the default for g++ 3.2.2). Send the full error message from compiling and we may be able to find the problem better. This should also be fixed in the near future, at least in CVS. I've recently fixed similar problems in the CVS version of OpenSNMP. This is related to getting the code working in gcc 3.x. There are some major changes to np-distd on the way (we will be starting to use ODBC for DB access for one). I was planning on catching things like this when I start tackling the new changes (probably start new changes in np-distd this week or next).
