Should a list of to-do items be added to the Net-SNMP wiki? Also, how about adding the following item to the above list: getting rid of 'makedepend' for generating dependency files. Makedepend is considered deprecated and does not work properly on modern systems. Any build system that supports dependency generation is a possible alternative (automake, cmake, ...).
