hi nathan,

i've walked through my MIB collection and commented out or removed
references to zeroDotZero ... and now i don't see the "Did not find
'zeroDotZero' in module SNMPv2-SMI" error msg.

i don't claim that this is a particularly skilled way of dealing with the
issue ... but given the paucity of my understanding of MIB files, it
suited me. i haven't detected any consequences thus far.

I'm running Net-SNMP on FreeBSD 5.3 and just upgraded to 5.2.1 via the
ports collection. Since upgrading, all of my SNMP queries are producing
the following error message:

Did not find 'zeroDotZero' in module SNMPv2-SMI
(/usr/local/share/snmp/mibs/EVENT-MIB.my)

The MIB that reports the error changes between EVENT-MIB.my and one of
the DISMAN MIBs, depending on the OID I'm querying. I've checked my
SNMPv2-SMI.txt file, which is the one being loaded, and it does have a
definition for zeroDotZero at the end of it:
