changing writable values fails

Hi,

i'm trying to change values as ipForwarding or ipDefaultTTL, but either
in v1/v2 or v3 it fails (No Such Name or Not Writable). But for
ucdavis.version.versionDoDebugging, it works fine :/

And for versionRestartAgent it seems to work (no error message), but i
can't see anything happen when i change it to 1, when i snmpget it it's
0 again and i can't see the agent restart so i'm not sure if it works.

By the way i would also like to know if trap thresholds could be changed
dynamically by an snmpset request ?

I'm using snmpd 5.0.6 and snmpget/set 5.1.3 on a redhat 9 (snmpd from
rpm package and snmpget/set from tar.gz).
I'm trying to change the values either from agent's computer or from a
distant win2k computer.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.

Maxime
