Hello, I'm currently working on mac access filtering through dot1dStaticTable from the BIRDGE-MIB on a Cisco 2940 switch. My aim is to create new filters by using snmpset. I found out host to create a new row in the double indexed (by dot1dStaticAddress and dot1dStaticReceivePort) dot1dStaticTable with the snmpset -v2c -c private switch .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.5.1.1.4.0.16.123.194.36.170.0 i 4 command But when this new entry corresponding to .0.16.123.194.36.170 mac address and indifferent receiving port .0 is created, all my tests to modify the associated dot1dStaticAllowedToGoTo informations stay poor. I was testing that with for example the snmpset -v2c -c private switch .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.5.1.1.3.0.16.123.194.36.170.0 x 0080 command The dot1dStaticTable don't have RowStatus column. Can someone help me by explaining to me how the setting of the dot1dStaticAllowedToGoTo can be set for a new entry. Must this be made an the row creation time ? If yes, how proceed ? Can it be made in an existing row ? If yes, how proceed ? thanks for your help.
