Hello, I m using net-snmp-5.1.2 on linux-2.4.22 platform. I am facing a problem regarding snmpusm. The scenario is - 1. snmpusm request for changing user Auth key sent 2. snmpusm request received by snmpd and processing started 3. A burst of snmpset requests(15+) is received by snmpd 4. the snmpusm request is queued(session delegated) 5. processing starts for recently received snmpset requests 6. snmpusm request retransmitted (4 times) and queued ... 7. snmpusm first request processed after a long duration In the above scenario, the snmpusm request is starved due to queuing policy of snmpd and affects the application issuing the request. Earlier I was using ucd-snmp-4.2.3 and never faced this problem. I also found that in net-snmp-5.0.1, a change in request ordering policy was introduced. Is this a known problem? Is there any fix available for this problem?
