snmpdemoapp - Linker-Error when running make

hi friends,

I have some problems when trying to make snmpdemoapp.
When I run make, I get the following errormessage:

te-labor:/home/andre/diplomarbeit/programme/snmptest # make snmpdemoapp
gcc -o snmpdemoapp snmpdemoapp.o `net-snmp-config --libs`
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.5/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: 
cannot find -lrpm
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [snmpdemoapp] Fehler 1
te-labor:/home/andre/diplomarbeit/programme/snmptest #

Is there anybody out there, who can help me?

My box runs on SUSE Linux 9.3
I installed the Net-snmp rpm that was delivered with the SUSE-DVD. The 
version of NetSNMP is 5.2.1.
