The OID can be something you make up (say, in the experimental branch), from
an existing MIB, or some MIB you define yourself. Assuming you are dealing
with text log messages, the TYPE is likely to be 's' (string), and the value
would be the syslog message.
I think there was some work done in the IETF on a syslog MIB, but I don't know
how far it got...
