I defined a proxy in snmpd.conf using:

proxy -v 1 -c public localhost:1161 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0

With the Mirosoft SNMP agent running on port 1161, an snmpget for
sysDescr.0 correctly gave the response from the MS agent via the proxy.
However, if I defined the proxy using:

proxy -v 1 -c public localhost:1161 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1

I would get the sysDescr from Net-SNMP instead of the MS agent. Based on
what the man page says, it should pass everything below system to the
other agent.

Is there a bug that could be affecting both the proxy and view tokens?

I tested this with 5.1.2.

Alex
