Hi
can you please correct my thoughts if they are wrong?
I've got this in snmp.conf
master agentx
agentxsocket localhost:705
trap2sink localhost
root@garfield specs# strace -p `pidof snmptrapd` 2>&1 | grep "agentx"
connect(9, {sa_family=AF_FILE, path="/var/agentx/master"}, 110) = -1
ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused)
I guess that snmptrapd should not try to connect to /var/agentx/master
but should use the settings from snmp.conf and connect to localhost.
Am I right?
Radek
