Hi Net-SNMP! Im currently working on a small project and i want to send my own SNMP traps. My question is how and where do i specify for example that the trap ID is equal to some information? For example, if i send 1.1.1.1.1.1.1 i want the application that recieves the trap to know that its equal to some information. Do i do this via a MIB?, if so how do i create this MIB. How do i know that the id that im using is not used by another product? Please send me some links to documents where i can get more information about this. Thank you for spending time and reading my email, hope to hear from you soon.
