Hello, This is a repetition of one Question raised by a developer sometime ago. But could not find a clear answer for that. I am currently facing the same problem and waiting for a solution. Question: ======================================================================== === When I send a trap from my subagent (AgentX), the enterprise OID field of the V1 trap is always .1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.4. i.e, (.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.netSnmp.netSnmpEnumerations.n etSnmpAgentOIDs.solaris). I actually want it to be a different one (for ex: .1.3.5.1.4.1.222 etc). Can this bedone using some NetSNMP API from the Subagent - I just searched, but could not find one. Please let me know if you have an idea about this. ======================================================================== == According to Robert, It can be done by manually creating the pdu. ( code base of send_enterprise_trap_vars) I tried the same and still no change in behavior. If I change the agent to a dynamically loadable module, then I am able to get the trap. What could the problem?
