Re: make errors on OS X Tiger 10.4.2 for 5.2.1.2

The only thing I  would add is that the folks at opendarwin/ 
darwinports have the problem also and it appears no good answer:

Anyone with specific information on what OS-specific patches or  
whatever, please let us know.
